mariah sainsbury

Mariah grew up on a farm in Payson, Utah. She is a book enthusiast and a lover of all things chocolate. She graduated from BYU with a BA in Dance and during her BYU experience she performed with Contemporary Dance Theatre and DancEnsemble. Since graduating Mariah has taught as an adjunct professor at BYU and in 2024 moved to New York City where she studied and performed with Gibney Company Community Center and The Harkness Center for Injured Dancers. She performed in The Table of Silence during a collaboration with Buglisi Dance Theatre Company and conducted research with the Center of LDS Arts under Vanessa Cook. Mariah loves to choreograph and most recently choreographed the Addams Family musical at Corner Canyon High School and premiered her new piece titled Experience Over Opinion with BYU’s DancEnsemble. This is Mariah’s first year with Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company.
